Patron of the arts?  The Majestic Theater, just blocks from campus offers a host of live performances where Broadway musicals and independent films are shown alongside Gettysburg College students' music and theatre ensemble performances.  The Schmucker Art Gallery features numerous exhibitions throughout the year including works by faculty and students. Every summer, the Gettysburg Festival, a ten day celebration of art, culture and cuisine, comes to campus. Sports fan?  Cheer our Gettysburg Bullets on during a game of one of our 24 varsity sports for men and women; or, visit the Orioles' Camden Yards and the Washington Capitals' Verizon Center, only about an hour away. 

Outdoor enthusiast? Head to nearby Caledonia State Park and Michaux State Forest for hiking, swimming, fishing, climbing, kayaking, and mountain biking. Gettysburg is also within half an hour of the Appalachian Trail.
