Type: Arts and Music

The Gettysburg College Choir is the premier choral ensemble of the Sunderman Conservatory. They are acclaimed for superlative performances of choral literature from Renaissance era to contemporary music. The ensemble sings in major concerts at Gettysburg College each semester and tours annually. Tours usually include major cities such as New York or Boston, with performances at local churches and schools. The choir also tours internationally, with recent excursions to Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Brazil and Canada. Since 2000 the group has toured three times to Nicaragua, adopting a service-learning model that combines immersion in the local culture and service components with performance.

Spring Tour 2013 included performances in eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.
