Lutheran Student Movement
Who We Are:
Lutheran Student Movement (LSM) is a group where students of any religious background come together as a Christian community. We support each other in service to the community, worship, friendship, and individual spiritual development.
What we do:
We hold our regular meetings on Thursday nights at 6pm in the Chapel Lounge. The topics of our meetings vary based on student interests and concerns. We're open for just about anything! We also have many special events throughout the year. Some of our favorite events include: Trick-or-Treating for Cans on Halloween, retreats in the fall and spring, movie nights, and the LSM National Convention over New Year's
How to Join:
We are always happy to have new students in LSM. All you have to do is either attend one of our weekly meetings in the Chapel Lounge, or contact our current president. Should your academic work conflict with our regular meeting time, we would be happy to add you to our group e-mails so that we can let you know about special events.
Other Facts about LSM:
We are recognized members of LSM-USA, a national organization uniting Lutheran campus groups from all over the country. We are also a part of The Mid-Atlantic Lutheran Student Movement. This is a regional organization of the Lutheran Student Movement-USA. Lovingly known as MALSM, this group includes colleges and Universities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and West Virginia. We take part in many regional events, such as retreats and service projects, during the academic year.
