An externship is an intensive one-week job shadowing experience open to rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Externships allow Gettysburg students to gain an insider’s view into a career field, observe on-the-job activities, and participate in hands-on learning experiences in the workplace. Most externships are sponsored by Gettysburg alumni, parents, and friends of the College and are a great networking opportunity.
